WHO IS BOOTCAMP FOR?
Anybody wishing to improve their fitness levels and try a new style of exercise outside the average gym experience. Suitable for beginners and experienced players. We also have a special program for kids and moms! A Creative and fun way to get fit! Currently our sessions are made up of mixed women and men both working professional, house wives and students. We also have sportsman and gym goers looking for new ways of cross training and people bored of normal gym training. Predominantly more internationals and half-pats though local Chinese are getting into it now too! Some people prefer the space and open style of outdoor training as opposed to a crammed health club. For the poeple that have no time and do not wish to be outdoors we now offer the XP30 indoor bootcamp at our new downtown studio. See the bootcamp packages for details.

DO I NEED TO BE FIT TO DO BOOT CAMP?
Of course not, that's why you are coming to us! Prior to course commencement each participant will attend an induction and preliminary screening which will determine current fitness levels and body measurements allowing us to cater for, and if needed place each recruit into a team depending on his/her individual fitness level. Classes are mixed male and female with teams of similar specifications. Players can go at their own pace or push themselves to the maximum!
Safety is a priority and we take every precaution to ensure that you are safe at all times. We encourage every recruit to manage their own personal safety by wearing suitable exercise clothing, shoes and to maintain safe levels of hydration during exercise.
WHAT SORT OF RESULTS CAN I GET?
The physical benefits from Boot Camp include increased fitness (cardio) levels, reduced body fat and increased muscle tone. The results gained however are not only physical as many recruits also report that they sleep better, have more energy and in some cases feel more confidence and motivation in all other areas of their lives to achieving a healthier life style.

Every session of bootcamp is designed and orchestrated by a qualified trainer who will ensure you have proper form on all the movements and provides the motivation that you will never have on your own. This is unlike a typical gym where you are responsible for your own routine and nobody corrects your form. They lure you in with an attractive price and actually want you to fail and quit to free up space for more. We are passionate about our work and in order for you to get the results you desire, we will demand your 100% commitment within the sessions.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING TO YOUR BOOT CAMP SESSIONS?
We supply all the equipment for each session. Comfortable sportswear with sneakers is all you’ll need. Bring a bottle of water or sports drink to keep yourself hydrated. The instructor will have a back pack to store any small items such as keys phones etc.

HOW TO PAY?
All transactions are conducted at our Jingan studio. We accept cash, cheque local and international credit cards payable before commencement of the program and will offer official receipt if requested.
BEWARE KNOCK-OFFS AND FREELANCE TRAINERS
Bootcamp Shanghai™ is a legitimate registered company. Unfortunately in an unregulated market as China, many “fitness companies” or “mobile trainers” are operating illegally. There has been many cases of people being conned by both local and foreign trainers who are often unqualified, here today and gone tomorrow. After paying in advance to get a discounted price are never seen again. Beware! Some have even claimed to be us! “Shanghai Bootcamp” is not affiliated with us in any way.
